Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Get (“Get,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Get mobile application and website at useget.ai (collectively, the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information about people who use our Platform, including earners who complete tasks (“Earners”) and enterprise buyers who purchase datasets (“Buyers”).
Please read this policy carefully. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Who This Policy Covers
This policy covers:
Earners — individuals who download the Get app, create an account, complete tasks, and receive payments.
Buyers — companies and individuals who access our enterprise dashboard, create campaigns, and receive datasets.
Visitors — people who visit useget.ai without creating an account.
Different sections apply depending on which category describes you. Where the policy applies to all users we say “you.” Where it applies only to Earners or only to Buyers we specify.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information Earners Provide Directly
When you create an account and use the Platform as an Earner, we collect:
Account information: Phone number, email address (if provided), and any profile information you choose to add.
Identity verification information: Government-issued ID documents, selfie photographs for identity verification, tax identification numbers (collected when required by law), and W-9 or equivalent tax forms for Earners who reach applicable earnings thresholds.
Payment information: PayPal account details, Venmo account details, bank account information for ACH transfers, and debit card information for instant transfers. We do not store full payment credentials — these are handled by our payment processors.
Task submissions: All content you submit as part of completing tasks, including photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, written responses, and selection data from judgment tasks.
Communications: Any messages you send to our support team or community channels.
3.2 Information We Collect Automatically From Earners
When you use the Get app, we automatically collect:
Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, mobile network information, and device fingerprint data used for fraud prevention.
Location information: GPS coordinates, location accuracy data, altitude, speed, and heading — collected when you complete field tasks or when location services are enabled. We collect weather data associated with your location at the time of field task submissions.
Usage data: Tasks viewed, tasks completed, tasks abandoned, response times, session length, app navigation patterns, notification interaction data, and earnings activity.
Behavioral signals: Touch patterns, tap pressure, swipe velocity, and interaction timing — collected for quality assurance and fraud detection purposes.
Camera and microphone data: Access to your camera and microphone is required for photo, video, and audio tasks. We only access these when you are actively completing a task that requires them.
Technical data: IP address, browser type (if accessing via web), app version, crash reports, and performance data.
3.3 Information Buyers Provide
When you access the Platform as a Buyer, we collect:
Account information: Name, work email address, company name, and job title.
Payment information: Credit card details processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Campaign specifications: Task descriptions, targeting parameters, quality requirements, delivery format preferences, and any data specifications you provide.
Communications: Messages with our enterprise team and support staff.
3.4 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from:
Payment processors: Transaction confirmation, payment status, and fraud signals from PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, and other payment partners.
Identity verification providers: Identity verification results from Stripe Identity or similar services.
Device integrity services: Signals from Google Play Integrity API and similar services confirming device authenticity.
Weather services: Environmental condition data associated with field task locations.

4.5 For Enterprise Dataset Delivery
Task submission data — including photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, response data, and associated metadata — is compiled, quality-checked, and delivered to enterprise Buyers as datasets. This is the core commercial purpose of the Platform. Earner identity information is not included in delivered datasets. Datasets contain anonymized metadata including device type, GPS coordinates (where applicable), timestamp, environmental conditions, and quality scores.
5. Biometric Data
Certain task types may result in the collection of biometric identifiers or biometric information as defined under applicable law, including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and similar statutes.
What we may collect: Voiceprints from audio recordings, facial geometry from photographs where analysis is performed, and hand geometry from video recordings of manual tasks.
Your consent: Before completing any task that may generate biometric data, you will be presented with a specific consent screen explaining what biometric data may be collected, how it will be used, how long it will be retained, and whether it will be shared with third parties. You must affirmatively consent before proceeding.
Retention: Biometric data is retained only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and in no case longer than three years from the date of collection or one year from your last interaction with the Platform, whichever comes first.
No sale without consent: We will not sell, lease, trade, or profit from biometric data without your separate explicit written consent.
Illinois residents: If you are an Illinois resident, you have specific rights under BIPA. Contact us at privacy@useget.ai to exercise these rights.
6. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Platform.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will promptly delete it. If you believe we may have information from or about a minor, contact us at privacy@useget.ai.
Earners must confirm they are 18 or older during account creation. We verify age through our KYC process for Earners who reach applicable earnings thresholds.
No task on the Platform requires or permits the recording of minors. Task instructions explicitly prohibit including children in any video, photo, or audio submission. Submissions detected as containing minors are rejected and may result in account suspension.
7. How We Share Information
7.1 With Enterprise Buyers
Anonymized task submission data — photographs, audio, video, response data, and associated metadata — is delivered to Buyers who have purchased campaigns. This data does not include your name, phone number, email address, payment information, or any other directly identifying information.
Metadata included in delivered datasets may include device type, approximate location (city and state level for most tasks, precise GPS for field tasks where GPS verification is a requirement), timestamp, task completion time, and quality score.
7.2 With Payment Processors
We share payment-related information with PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, and other payment partners to process earnings payouts and Buyer payments.
7.3 With Identity Verification Providers
We share identity documents and related information with identity verification providers to fulfill KYC requirements. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any other purpose.
7.4 With Service Providers
We share information with companies that help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting providers, content moderation services, fraud detection services, analytics providers, and customer support tools. These providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to us.
7.5 For Legal Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law or legal process
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Get, our users, or the public
- Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues
- Enforce our Terms of Service
7.6 Business Transfers
If Get is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any choices you may have.
7.7 With Your Consent
We may share information with third parties when you have given us your consent to do so.
8. Data Retention
Account information: Retained while your account is active and for five years after account closure or last activity, whichever is later, to fulfill legal obligations including tax reporting.
Task submission data: Raw submission files are retained for the duration of our agreement with the relevant Buyer plus two years. Anonymized submission metadata is retained indefinitely for platform improvement purposes.
Payment records: Retained for seven years to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements.
Identity verification documents: Retained for the period required by applicable law and then securely deleted.
Biometric data: See Section 5 above.
Device and behavioral data: Retained for two years from collection for fraud detection and algorithm training purposes.
You may request deletion of your personal information subject to our legal retention obligations by contacting privacy@useget.ai.
9. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS
- Encryption of data at rest
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal information
- Regular security assessments
- Incident response procedures
No security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee that information you transmit to us will never be accessed in an unauthorized manner. If we learn of a security breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Your Rights and Choices
10.1 Access and Correction
You may access and correct your account information through the app settings at any time.
10.2 Deletion
You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting privacy@useget.ai. We will fulfill deletion requests subject to our legal retention obligations. Note that deletion of your account will result in forfeiture of any unpaid earnings below our minimum payout threshold.
10.3 Opt-Out of Push Notifications
You may disable push notifications through your device settings at any time. Note that disabling notifications may affect your ability to be notified of available tasks and payout confirmations.
10.4 Location Data
You may disable location access through your device settings. Note that disabling location access will make you ineligible for field tasks and tasks that require geographic verification.
10.5 California Residents
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA. We do share anonymized task submission data with enterprise Buyers as described in Section 7.1. This sharing is a core function of the Platform that you consent to by using the Platform as an Earner.
To exercise your CCPA rights, contact privacy@useget.ai.
10.6 European and UK Residents
If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you have rights under GDPR or UK GDPR including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing.
Our lawful basis for processing your information as an Earner is performance of a contract (to operate your account and process your earnings) and legitimate interests (fraud prevention and platform improvement). For biometric data we rely on your explicit consent.
To exercise your GDPR rights, contact privacy@useget.ai.
11. International Data Transfers
Get is based in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. For transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by sending a push notification through the app and posting the updated policy at useget.ai/privacy. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
